Sport Rules

Format:
  • The game will follow a Single Player Knockout Format.
  • League knockout
  • Quarter-Final Matches: Best of 3 frames
  • Semi-Final Match: Best of 3 frames.
  • Final Match: Best of 5 frames.
Game Rules:
  1. Once the match draw is published, no changes will be permitted under any circumstances.
  2. In the event of a foul, the referee’s decision will be final and binding.
  3. Players must report to their match on time. A grace period of 10 minutes will be allowed from the scheduled match time. Failure to show up will result in a walkover awarded to the opponent.
  4. If the black ball is potted in any pocket during the break, the frame is awarded to the player.
  5. Premature Black Ball Potting
    If the black ball is potted before all of a player’s assigned object balls (solids or stripes) have been legally cleared from the table, it shall be considered a foul. The black ball will be re-spotted on the table, and the opposing player will be awarded a free ball in hand, allowing placement anywhere on the table.
  6. Players must call the pocket before potting the black ball. Note: even if the pocket appears obvious, it must still be explicitly called.
  7. On winning every game 1 point will be awarded to the team's championship points total.

Format:
  • The tournament will follow a Single and Doubles Knockout Format.
  • Separate categories will be conducted for Singles’s Male, Female and Senior participants.
  • Knockout and Quarter-Final Matches: Played to 15 points.
  • Semi-Final and Final Matches: Played to 15 points. Best of three
General Rules:
  1. Once the match draw is published, no changes will be permitted under any circumstances.
  2. In the case of a foul or dispute, the referee’s decision will be final and binding.
  3. Players must report to the court on time. A 10-minute grace period from the scheduled match time will be provided. If a player fails to appear within this window, a walkover will be granted to the opponent.
  4. All players are required to bring their own racket.
  5. Non-Marking Shoes (Gum Sole) are mandatory, else players will have to play bare foot.
  6. If the shuttle touches the ceiling, it will be a re-serve.
  7. Matches will be conducted in accordance with standard Badminton rules and regulations.
  8. On winning every match 1 point will be awarded to the team's championship points total.

Format:
  • The game will follow a Singles and Doubles Knockout Format.
  • Knockout and Quarter-Final Matches:
    • Best of 3 boards for Singles
    • Best of 4 boards for Doubles
  • Semi-Final Match: Best of 5 boards.
  • Final Match: Best of 5 boards.
Game Rules:
  1. Once the match draw is published, no changes will be permitted under any circumstances.
  2. All 4 participants get a break in doubles.
  3. A tie breaker will be played in-case of tie (2-2 board win).
  4. Break to be defined by coin toss
  5. In the event of a foul, the referee’s decision will be final and binding.
  6. Players must report to their match on time. A grace period of 10 minutes will be allowed from the scheduled match time. Failure to show up will result in a walkover awarded to the opponent.
  7. In case the first board takes beyond 30 minutes, the winner of that board will be decided on the basis of points. This rule applies only to the knockout matches.
  8. Red coin (5 points), White coin (1 point), Black coin (1 point).

  10. On winning every match 1 point will be awarded to the team's championship points total.

Format:

  • Knockout, Quarter-Final Matches and Semi-Final: Played to 21 points Best of 3 frames.
  • Final Matches: Played to 21 points. Best of 5 frames.

  5. If the ball experiences a free fall or makes contact with the racket unintentionally during service and drops without a valid play, it will be considered a foul. In such cases, the point will be considered.
  6. On winning every match 1 point will be awarded to the team's championship points total.

Format:
  • The game will follow a Single Knockout Format | 15mins Chess.
Game Rules:
  1. Once the match draw is published, no changes will be permitted under any circumstances.
  2. Each player will get 15 mins to win the game. If the clock runs out, the player loses. (Players should install chess.com clock app prior to game)
  3. Touch to move. (If you touch any piece, you have to move it). Players can adjust the pieces by mentioning “ADJUST” to the opponent.
  4. Once placed and released you cannot re-move the piece.
  5. Only one ill-legal move is allowed as WARNING. Player loses the match on 2nd ill-legal move. Players have to call an opponent's ill-legal move to the arbiter/referee.

Format:
  • The game will follow a Single Knockout Format and Playoffs for Top 3 teams.
Game Rules:
  1. Once the match draw is published, no changes will be permitted under any circumstances.
  2. LIVE scoring will be done over the Cric Heroes application. Owners have to define playing members for their teams before 20th August 2025
  3. Team of 8 players with combination as below:
    • 5 players should be Mens
    • 2 Players can be combination of females/U14 kid
    • 1 Player must be U16 Kid
  4. Total 6 overs per innings with bowling mandate as below:
    • 4 overs by Mens
    • 2 overs mandatory by Females/U14 Kid (either combination)
    • Only one over per bowler is allowed.
  5. Mens Bowling rules:
    • The bowler has to stand in the bowling box and deliver the ball. If the box line is cut by the bowler, it will result in a no-ball.
    • Throw action to be followed by every bowler. Full-arm rotation & Side-Arm action is restricted and umpires can call out No-Ball.
    • Mentioning the bowling side is not mandatory.
    • Bowling speed is set to 79kmph and it will be administered by an umpire using a speed gun.
    • Two bounces to batter will result in a dead ball.
  6. Female/U12 Bowling Rules:
    • Standing or running bowling is allowed.
    • Bowler crossing the crease line will result in No-ball (same as international line no-ball rule)
    • No pace restriction
    • Two bounces to batter will result in a dead ball.
  7. All extras are open. (Wide, Bye, Leg-bye, No-ball)
  8. All No-ball rules are applicable:
    • Waist height no-ball
    • Line cut no-ball
    • Bowling end stumps disturbed while delivery is a No-Ball
    • More than two players on boundary is a No ball
    • More than one player behind stumps during power-play is a No-ball.
  9. Boundary rules:
    • If the ball travels to the straight net after touching the ceiling net, then it is 6 runs.
    • If the ball travels to the straight net after touching to the sideways net, then it is 4 runs.
  10. Overthrow is open. Batters can take runs or boundaries can be awarded if the ball touches the boundary net.
  11. Ceiling touch catch and LBW is NOT OUT.
  12. The obstructing field is OUT. Umpires to take the decision.
  13. In the event of a foul, the Umpire’s decision will be final and binding.
  14. Finalists rule:
    • Top 2 teams will play qualifier-1 and the winner will go to the final.
    • Loser of qualifier-1 will play qualifier-2 against 3rd rank team
    • Top 3 teams will be decided by NRR calculated over CRIC HEROES app.
  15. Once a player is registered under one team, he/she cannot play from another team. (Player swapping is not allowed). If you do not have sufficient players then you will have to participate with short/less no. of players.
  16. Female/U12 kid will bowl only to Female/U12/U16 kid and it will be 1st two 2 overs of the innings. Minus 1 run will be penalized to the batting team for every 1 wicket that falls in those 2 overs.
  17. Female/U12/U16 kids will continue the batting in round robin way even after getting out in 1st two overs.
  18. Their wicket is considered when they bat during Mens bowling.
  19. Last man standing is allowed with a runner at non-striker end. Both ends runout will be enabled. If either of the players get run-out, the innings ends and the batting team will be declared all-out.
  20. Runner is allowed only after dire examination of physio and that too on one end at a time. Both ends cannot have runners.
  21. One over will be power play wherein only one player is allowed at boundary line and rest all should be ahead of bowling end stump line. Batters to convey umpire about powerplay before over begins and accordingly the bowling team can choose a bowler. Powerplay can be taken anytime during the 4 mens overs only.
  22. On winning every match 1 point will be awarded to the team's championship points total.
